Anna, excellent page. We will be following, me and all my preschoolers and toddlers.
Thanks to you, Ro glows with pride when she tells me she can do algebra! Age 10. ❤️
LOVE your website Anna! Looking beautiful.
I watch him with you and it is magical. He responds to you and trusts you. I have seen him grow over the last year or two and has gained skills I thought he would never possess. You have become a big part of our family and I know for me and from what I have observed all of us have benefitted from our connection with you. You really are a gift to us.
Just play math. And go like this chick's page...she gets it.
Giving a huge shoutout to Anna's Math Page for helping me with more complicated algebra. I am a multi-sensory tutor who specializes in math. Third power algebra, and complex second power algebra, are not things I do very often. My ability to do problems doesn't translate to effectively explaining to students. Anna has that ability. If your student needs help with pre-calculus, and you are willing to do online tutoring contact Anna's Math Page. She will explain things in a way that makes sense.
I love that he enjoys math and wants a big whiteboard to do math on. I owe it all to Crewton Ramone, Anna Tarnowski, and Kirk Lunde who let non-mathy me ride along on their coat tails.
Our wonderful math tutor has a gift for engaging our boys in amazing conversations about math concepts. J had the best chat with Anna in our driveway last week, counting down to negative numbers. He fell in love with the math kit Anna brought, which makes math visible and manipulable. Clearly the best way to teach math - so much better than the prosaic methods we've seen before. There is no way to emphasize the difference enough, between B trying to do the (blah) prescribed math course and seeing him talk to his math tutor.
Anna's Math Page is awesome! Base ten blocks are not just for little kids.
Anna's stuff is so valuable for using with base ten blocks.
I could not do what I do without standing on the shoulders of amazing people. Thank you Crewton Ramone and Anna's Math Page for teaching me how to help students.
