Anna is a Mortensen Math and base ten block trainer. Though she prefers the Mortensen Math blocks, she uses whatever base ten blocks students have to help them understand math better. She first started out working in person locally with students but after she relocated to a remote community she made the move to teaching fully online. Her online math community has now become global reaching students from around the world. She works with a variety of students ranging in age from 5 years old to 50+. The heart and soul of her approach is a hybrid multi-base multi-unit block approach. With this approach she helps students develop a love of math.
