Kirk Lunde is the the owner of Kirk’s Tutoring.
Kirk provides math tutoring to students with learning differences, homeschoolers, and adults who need a refresher. He also trains teachers and homeschooling parents how to use base ten blocks to teach their students and children math.
His background in paediatrics and special education help him to connect with his math students easily.
Kirk was introduced to multisensory learning while working in special education and believes it is the best way for all students to learn math.
Kirk’s love is helping young children develop a deep understanding of numbers and mathematical relationships.
Kirk also talks to students about the neuroscience of learning and helps them overcome self-confidence and anxiety issues. He calls it math therapy.
